Vaccination schedule

  • This vaccine is recommended for use at 6 weeks of age or older.

  • Vaccinate replacement pullets at least 4 weeks prior to the onset of egg production.

  • Wing Web method :
    • Rehydrate the vaccine with diluent.
    • Insert the two-pronged applicator (lancet) tip into the bottle containing vaccine solution.
    • Hold the bird with the wing stretched out. Stab through the wing web completely, with the lancet containing the vaccine, taking care not to puncture the large blood vessels.
    • Recharge the applicator with vaccine before vaccinating each bird.
  • Vaccination reaction :
    • Examine the wing web inoculation site of vaccinated birds, for mild tissue reactions, called  "takes", 7 to 10 days post-vaccination. These swellings serve as a good indicator of successful immunization.

    2. Do not rehydrate vaccine with diluents until ready for use.
    3. Use entire content of the vial when first opened.
